19 months old!

IMG_9337_edited-1

Age: 19 months old!!

Weight: 26.5 lbs at his 18 month appt.

Length: 34 inches tall at his 18 month appt.

Size: size 5 diapers, 18-24 month clothes

Hair: He is so blonde! All our time being out in the sun this summer has really bleached his hair out. It's so cute.

Teeth: 12 currently, though starting on more. Can't see anything yet, but I have a feeling his canines are coming in. He's been chewing on his fingers more often, and we've had to break the Motrin back out.

Sleeping: One nap a day, bedtime at 9pm. I can't believe how daylight it still is at 9pm, but it doesn't seem to bother him!

Eating: New loves are hot dogs, and strawberries. Each day is hit or miss, some days he eats like a horse, and then the other night he went to bed without ever eating dinner but didn't care. Typical toddler!

Movement: Close to learning how to jump, climbing up in his chair at the dinner table himself. Starting to take the stairs differently, it's hard to describe, but he's close to being able to just walk right up them.

Milestones: Starting to say more words, new are Bike,Sorry, Bye, Blue, Choo (train), uh oh, Mama doin?. His other words are becoming more clear, and I swear sometimes it sounds like he is saying sentences. In the morning when he wakes up, he yells for "Daddy" to come get him. It's so adorable, and ensures that Daddy has to change that first stinky diaper of the morning, not Momma! Still very interested in the potty chair, but no success yet.

Favorite toys/activities: Loves for us to read him books. He was obsessed with the train at the zoo a few weekends ago, and now loves all his Choo's. He loves all his cars and trucks, and likes to make them crash into each other. Such a boy. Tried to put a diaper on his stuffed piggy the other day, it was adorable. Loves being outside and getting dirty.

Dislikes: Having to leave whatever fun place that we are, really nothing else. He's super easy going for the most part. Sometimes we have stubborn standoffs, but Momma always wins in the end.

Disposition: Such a happy boy. He's really a good listener for the most part, and just smiley all the time. We are truly blessed.

Our kids are tacking along! Gage is so much like your guy. Oh, except for bedtime. That happens at 7:30, for all 3 of my kids. Sometimes closer to 8, but the process starts at 7:30.
