Children's Museum with Grandpa

Two weeks ago, my Dad took the day off work to spend the day with Sammy and I. We took Sammy on his first trip to the Children's Museum. Sammy absolutely loved it, and Dad and I had a pretty good time as well. We went to the Playscape area first, which is a large area geared toward Toddlers. Sammy loved the water table! It's a good thing they make the kids wear aprons, or else he would have been soaked!

Then we moved on to the race car. Sam is into anything with steering wheels, so he was in hog heaven for the few minutes he was able to sit in the car!

After lunch, Sammy got his second wind, and we went to the dinosaur exhibit. He wasn't quite sure at the beginning with all the lights and sounds, but he warmed up quickly! He loved the dinosaur nest, and liked to play with the dino eggs.

After the dinosaurs, we walked through the train exhibit and then ended underneath the Fireworks of Glass. Sam really loved looking up through all the colors.

They also have a plastic kids version of the Fireworks, and Sammy loved playing with that!

Thanks grandpa for taking the day off to play with Sammy! Love you!

I had a great day also! It was fun not having to share with Grandma for once.
