Trip to Winamac

Last weekend, we made a trip home to Winamac. Saturday was spent taking Sam to his first Winamac Lady Warrior basketball game, and then spending the evening with Grandpa and Grandma Burger. Sunday was lunch with Grandpa and Grandama Rausch, and then to a Rausch family baby shower. Sam was such a champ, and despite spending most of the weekend in his carseat while running here and there, he was a calm, happy baby. He even slept through the night Saturday night!

Here's Sam meeting Mom's best friend from high school, Kelly, and watching the Lady Warriors play ball. I thought that Sam wouldn't like the loud noises of the ball game, but it didn't affect him at all. He enjoyed going to Mommy and Daddy's old high school, and seeing some pictures of Mommy still hanging in the halls from the ol' glory days.

Even though the Lady Warriors lost, we still had smiles!
